R-R-R IN OUR CAMPUS- REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE

PLASTIC FREE CAMPUS

          Our school campus is plastic free and moreover we avoid single use plastic. Plastic free campus helps schools make a difference from the polluted environment and protect our own health from the pollution.

           “Alone we can do so little

             Together, we can do so much”.

          In keeping with the quotes of Helen Keller, we have made a number of efforts to create plastic free campus in our school for the purpose of  Environmental conservation.

          Dream 20 Green Foundation and Tirupur Municipality combined together, have conducted a program called PLASTIC FREE TIRUPUR. Nearly 5000 Jaivabai students proudly participated in this program and took oath not to use plastics.

                       

SOLAR PANEL

SOLAR PANEL IN NGM BUILDING

          Solar panel was constructed in NGM building. Panel length is 2 meter and width is 1 meter and consists of 6 plates. The light energy we get from solar panel is used for 15 class rooms in NGM building.

SOLAR PANEL IN MAIN BUILDING

           Main building consists of 42 class rooms. On the terrace, the solar panel of 2-meter length and one meter width with 60 plates is implanted. It consists of two sections. The light energy which stored in the solar panel is used for the main building

RAIN WATER CONSERVATION – RECHARGING SHAFTS

          Rain water is harvested in our school through recharging shafts to increase the ground water level by rain beaver technique. We are proud that our school has initiated this innovative technique among government schools in Tamilnadu.

WATER RECYCLING PITS & RAINWATER HARVESTING

Nearly 50 catchments have been fixed in our campus to collect water in the pit. Nearly 1.3 acres of building areas give 7.7 million litres of rain water.
